A homeschool curriculum unlike any other.

Created by me, Jerrica Sannes, Nurture Wildflowers was designed to be a truly one-of-a-kind early childhood curriculum. With a master's degree in early childhood curriculum and instruction, a bachelor's degree in child development, and an associate's degree in early childhood education, I knew exactly how I wanted my children's earliest school years to look, but, despite the bazillion options available, I couldn't find anything even remotely close on the market.

I wanted something truly play-based, completely screen-free, entirely concrete (NO workbooks), and actually effective.

I wanted my children to learn how to read well with zero tears, zero stress, zero fighting. I wanted them to fall in love with real, beautiful children's literature. I wanted them to think of math as fun puzzles and numbers as familiar friends. I wanted to protect plenty of time for play, travel, interest-based enrichment, seasonal magic, and life.

I wanted to protect their early years. I wanted school to feel like... childhood. A slow, beautiful, magical, intentional, sensory-rich, nature-based, memory-filled childhood.

I researched the science of reading and found what I feel in my soul is the very best approach to teaching reading and writing. I tested numerous hands-on math materials and narrowed down my essentials. I continued to adjust and improve the curriculum as I worked through 1st and 2nd grade with my oldest son. And now, with a 3rd grader, 1st grader, and 3 year old, I'm continuing to expand and perfect the curriculum on all levels.

I, and hundreds of others, have absolutely loved Nurture Wildflowers, and we think you will too.

There seem to be endless homeschool programs — why choose Nurture Wildflowers?

More and more families are opting to homeschool for a multitude of reasons, but simply homeschooling is not a solution.

Traditional homeschooling mimics a broken education system with apps, worksheets, and early academic instruction. And, although a growing number of preschool and kindergarten curricula are marketed as “play-based” and “hands-on”, the lesson plans are often academically focused, adult-directed, and not developmentally appropriate for young children.

Research finds that children who have direct academic instruction before age 7 (including adult-led activities, workbooks, and educational technology), even if it’s “fun”, score significantly worse than their peers later on in both academics and overall life success.

Nurture Wildflowers is the ONLY homeschooling program that will empower you with child development knowledge and teach you how to help your child meet early learning milestones without worksheets, apps, or flash cards.
